About First Serve Santa Ana
Founded in 2007, the mission of First Serve Santa Ana (FSSA) is to promote educational, physical, and social development of youth in the City of Santa Ana through tennis and educational activities. We provide experiences that encourage youth participation, personal integrity, leadership, and competitive spirit in a friendly environment that builds responsible citizens.
First Serve Santa Ana has recently gone through a rigorous process to qualify as a member of OC Connect, a nonprofit central database created to help donors and local residents engage in the causes they care about most. Membership in OC Connect gives FSSA a seal of approval and access to local and national networks of approved organizations, To learn about FSSA on OC Connect, click on the OC Connect badge located on our website.
Using the USTA Quick Start format for our kids in local elementary schools and competitive league formats for high schools players; First Serve is building “Confident Kids Through Tennis.”FSSA staff is currently running programs at Carl Harvey Elementary, Carr Intermediate and Valley during the week. In addition, FSSA holds Saturday 10 and Under programs for students coming from other elementary schools in Santa Ana. FSSA staff is selected from dedicated high school players who enthusiastically share their passion for tennis in partnership with Vic Braden’s Junior Tennis Ambassadors program.

We’ll enthusiastically accept donations of water, healthy snacks, old racquets and other tennis equipment, volunteer or community service oriented individuals and of course a tax-deductible donation through PayPal is always appreciated.
